Mission Statement

To provide support and caring to St. Anthony parishioners who have experienced grief in the past. To get to know one another and to strengthen our church family. 

This group is a spin- off of the Grief Support Group and ministers to parishioners who have lost a loved one some time ago, but still want to get together socially.

Our Ministry Objectives

Objective 1- We meet several times a year for lunch as a group to provide social activity and support. We have little candy treats and prizes. This is usually at holiday time-Christmas, Valentines, and Easter. Committee members provide rides for those that need them. New members are telephoned. Announcement is in bulletin.

Where Does our Name Come From??

The Beams name comes from the idea that beams support a structure (i.e. a building) and we are there for each other to support and comfort in times of need.  Also, a beam of light shows the way, giving comfort, just as we try and give comfort in times of need.
