Fr. Christopher Reising,

Pastor

After Father Reising’s ordination in 2006, he served Queen of Apostles and Holy Family Parishes in Council Bluffs plus Our Lady of Carter Lake in Carter Lake (now all three are Corpus Christi Parish) for one year. In 2007, Father Reising went to Mexico to learn the Spanish language. When he returned in 2008, he began serving Our Lady of the Americas Parish in Des Moines first as parochial vicar, administrator and pastor. Eight years later, he became pastor of St. Patrick Parish in Perry, where he served for three years. In 2019, he became pastor of his current parishes in Osceola, Grand River and Mt. Ayr. And now has been pastor of St. Anthony since 2022.

Fr. Rodrigo Mayorga Landeros,

Parochial Vicar

Fr. Rodrigo Mayorga Landeros is originally from the state of Jalisco, Mexico. He moved to the U.S. at the age of 11 and settled, along with his family, in Osceola, IA. After graduating from Clarke Community High School in 2014, his call to the priesthood lead him to one of the most populated cities in the world: Mexico City. There he began his seminary formation and studies in philosophy. In 2018 he returned to the United States to continue his seminary formation at the Saint Paul Seminary in St. Paul, MN. He was ordained along with Fr. Nick Smith and Fr. Alex Kramer on June 24, 2022 at the St. Ambrose Cathedral in Des Moines. Now he is serving as the parochial vicar at St. Anthony Catholic Church.
