Preparation for Infant Baptism

In efforts to maximize the awareness of the special graces present in the sacrament of Baptism, and to assist parents in understanding the duties and responsibilities they are accepting by seeking Baptism for their child.

Infant Baptism is conferred by appointment on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month.

Requirements:

• Parents must be registered practicing members of St Anthony Parish.
• Parents must complete the baptism form below.
• Godparents must be practicing catholics who are at least 16 years of age and must have received the sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation, and live in according with the teaching of Christ and his Church, if married the godparents MUST be married in a Catholic Church.
• Copy of Child Birth Certificate.
• Both parents and sponsors must attend a baptism prep class, please contact the parish office to be scheduled.
• Parents should call the parish office to arrange for a Pre-baptism class and a date of baptism.
